Maze Blade an affordable smartphone with a distinctive design coming soon
Maze Blade affordable smartphone with a distinctive design.
Having recently announced the Maze Alpha with its bezel-less screen , Maze are back with another announcement.
It would appear that they have been busy behind the scenes getting ready to take on the both the top and bottom sectors of the growing China phone market.
Their second device, the Maze Blade will be on sale at the end of March with what maze are saying will be a price capable of making it the most affordable distinctly designed phone so far in 2017.
From the supplied pictures, the Maze Blade looks to feature front and rear glass panels encasing a metal frame, hopefully this will be toughened glass perhaps gorilla glass will be used (something that is to feature on the Alpha).
The Maze Blade certainly has some sleek lines and the rounded edges add a refined look that reminds me somewhat of the Sony Z5.
Maze have added a short-cut key on the right side of the Maze Blade allowing easy access to the apps that you use most often.
Another feature that will help if you buy the phone for your kids, or if like me your kids like to play with your phone, is a Guest mode function, enabling you switch to a different guest profile quickly to protect your personal data from little eyes.
The specs for the phone whilst not amazing compared to current flagships, will be more than enough for everyday use and should be capable of running most games and apps without much hassle.
The Maze Blade will feature a 5.5″ FHD IPS display, Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the front, Mediatek MTK6753 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, with expandable storage via SD Card.
Surprisingly for what will be a budget handset the 8mp front facing and 13mp rear facing cameras will be native resolution, unlike most lower end phones that use cheaper cameras with interpolation.
This could be a goto phone for those on a budget, hopefully the software will be well polished with good optimisation.
